The Alumni of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium is a unique and cohesive community that currently counts more than 500 members and is expected to grow rapidly in the coming years. One of our main goals is to support Alumni members who are in different fields and life situations, in order to continue their professional development.

Our aim is to help students being able to improve themselves after completing their studies, and return to our institution to share their success with our current students. With the support of the MCC, they can gain unique scholarship opportunities at the best universities in the world, take part on exclusive trainings in order to achieve peak performance, and we also provide them the opportunity to return to the institution as mentors or instructors. We believe it is important that the members of Alumni and our students have an active relationship with each other.

Career planning

One of the main goals of our Career Center in addition to talent management, is to equip MCC students with skills which will help them to meet the needs of the labor market easily and respond effectively to its challenges.

We put great emphasis on working closely with key players of the labor market (companies, organizations, institutions) and providing students up-to-date information on current market trends, employer expectations and professional requirements.

Our mission is to offer services for students, that actively help them to achieve their individual career goals, gain professional and working experience during their studies, and finally find a great place of work. We also help them with counseling and mentoring services.

Through our corporate and institutional collaborations, we offer our students internship and job opportunities so that they can use the knowledge they have acquired in the labor market, according to their unique skills, abilities and interests.

In collaboration with our partners, our students can also participate in the practical implementation of projects that focus on solving real social or business problems that facilitate their individual development.

We consider it as an important task to monitor the career path of MCC Alumni members, to involve them in our daily activities, and to integrate their labor market experience into the education program of our students.

Traditions

MCC sees itself first and foremost as a cohesive community and then as an institution. Education is not in masses but in small groups with individual development being in the focus which helps in forging a community of the students. Additionally, the community is being built and organized outside school hours, too. MCC’s peculiarity is that students are not only members of the community but they are active builders and shapers of it as well. The majority of the programs are shaped by the students themselves, while the rest are centrally offered by MCC to them taking into account their requests. Camps where MCC students of various ranges of interests – lawyers, engineers, economists and psychologists – hold lectures to each other offering their fellows insight into the interesting world of their own disciplines also contribute to mutual understanding.

Our goal is to have our students perceive being MCC students a valuable experience from all aspects and to have the sense of togetherness maintained in human and professional relationships not only inside the walls of MCC but outside of it too on the long run. We would like those who have become members to our community to remain as such and be proud of what they took from MCC.
