Mathias Corvinus Collegium invites you to a discussion with Dr. Gladden Pappin, a visiting senior fellow at MCC, on leave from the University of Dallas, where he is an associate professor of politics. He received his bachelor’s degree in history, as well as his master’s and PhD in government, from Harvard University. In 2017 he cofounded American Affairs, now the premier conservative political quarterly in the United States, of which he is deputy editor. Recently he cofounded Postliberal Order, and he is a member of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. He writes regularly on issues of U.S. and European politics.

American culture is found everywhere. With its military force, American geopolitical strength is also a fact that cannot be ignored. What are the main sources of American strength, and what are some of the main problems? We’ll discuss the good and bad in American contributions to the world – and all points of view will be welcome.
